Y27632 is a potent ROCK1 and ROCK2 inhibitor, namely Rho-associated coiled-coil forming protein kinase (ROCK) inhibitor. Y27632 has been used to propagate human pluripotent stem cells and reduces anoikis, namely apoptosis induced after single-cell passaging because of detachment of the cell with the ECM/extracellular membrane. Y27632 can also be used for expansion of human naïve pluripotent cells containing the genetic pluripotency reporter OCT4-ΔPE-GFP+ in t2iLGöY & m5i/LAF media.
